USE IT UP, WEAR IT OUT, MAKE DO,

DO WITHOUT

Back in the “good old days” when folks didn’t have much, they learned how to make what they had last. Back then, they quilted using scraps, certainly with love but by necessity.  Today, we can quilt, still with love but for beauty and art with…buttons!

Using a 9" WIDE x 12" TALL mounting card, identify the name of a quilt design or technique you will reproduce using buttons alone or with ??? Include an image of the quilt block design on the mounting card or attached to it. This does not have to be from an actual quilt. Use as many buttons and of any sort that you need to interpret the quilt pattern. Click here for the PDF Challenge #4 info.

This is a chance to put your non-competitive buttons to use. They would love your attention. Good luck!

Everyone can participate: online OR at the convention! 

JUNIORS compete FREE against other juniors in all categories

All entries require only 5 buttons minimum, & IMAGINATION!

No limit on the number of entries per Challenge per person.

Each entry requires a $3 entry fee. 

All entries should be submitted:

1.  On site at the NBS convention on Monday OR

2.  Online via email by August 1 for the digital competition. 

Ribbons and prizes will be awarded for each Challenge. 

PLUS People’s-Choice Awards—for online and  for on site.

Entries will be shared on the NBS Creative website pages.
