Patrica Clarks interest in buttons began with purchasing a collection discovered in an antique store in San Francisco in the 1970s. After joining the Santa Clara Button Club, she met Lucille Weingarten, who greatly influenced her love of researching buttons. All this has brought her to this point in her button career, discovering and appreciating painted eggshell buttons.
