Join Michelle to view a wide array of their creative genius and hear the history of their inspired work. Michelle began embroidery at 8, and at 10 when she wasn’t given an allowance, she began sewing and selling area rugs for her friends’ Barbie doll houses. A needle has never been far from her hands. Buttons grew out of her love for laces, sewing notions, and fabrics. She began her button collection 47 years ago when she frequented Portland’s Daisy Kingdom. After closing her bakery in Southern Oregon, she has been able to focus more on the art and inspired work of button collecting.
