The NBS Bulletin and Just Buttons scanning project was completed in 2015.  All NBS bulletins are online.  All Just Buttons magazines are also online with the exception of December 1942 because a copy has not been located. The new NBS Bulletins will be scanned and available some time after each one is mailed to members. These publications are available to members and located in the "Member Section" of this web site.

I thought this might be a way that other folks could help to get information out about their button collecting hobby and the various clubs and societies.

George and Gretchen Gauthier, and their button collecting made the front page of their local paper, The New London Day.  Here is the link to the article:  http://www.theday.com/article/20140705/NWS01/307059977/1018

It will only be publicly available for 2 days, after that, you’d have to be a subscriber.

Did you or your club do anything special for National Button month/week?  I received a letter and two newspaper articles from one of our members in Nebraska.  He had two different articles in his local newspaper, The Schuyler Sun and displayed part of his button collection at the Schuyler/Colfax County Museum during the month of March.  Thank you, Jim for helping to promote interest in the hobby of button collection and for promoting the National Button Society.

It has been brought to our attention that if a member wants to pay NBS Membership dues by PayPal for another person who is not their co-member, whether junior or adult, it cannot easily be done from the Members Only site.  You need to pay directly from your PayPal account to the NBS account: sales@nationalbuttonsociety.org   Be sure to include a comment in the note section giving us the person's name and contact information so we know who to credit.

Enjoy reading an article that Shirley Hutson wrote about buttons that are new to the market and will be collectible buttons of the future. http://bnb.jewelrymakingmagazines.com/en/Community/Button%20Corner/NBS%20Articles/2013/09/Todays%20buttons%20%20%20tomorrows%20collectibles.aspx
